Chairman, The Board of Trustees

Greetings friends and colleagues,

As Chairman of the Board of Trustees for both Asia University (AU) and China Medical University & Health Care System, it is my distinct privilege to warmly welcome Members of the US National Academy of Science and Medicine, as well as international and domestic experts, young researchers, and students participating in the fourth annual ICABS.

At China Medical University, we have made substantial progress in advancing fundamental and translational research to uncover the intricate mechanisms of cancer, with the ultimate goal of developing precision medicine. To achieve this, we have consistently attracted top-tier researchers and physicians from around the world, fostered collaborations with both domestic and international institutions, and organized events such as ICABS. Our researchers and physician-scientists collaborate to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and practical bedside applications, thereby enhancing our understanding of cancer cells. This conference also provides an opportunity to showcase the soft power of biomedical science in Taiwan.

Beyond our dedication to excellence in innovative and translational research, we are also committed to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals and educators, instilling in them a strong sense of social responsibility. This conference provides a remarkable platform for young talents to gain new knowledge, stay informed about global trends, and foster innovation and creativity. I continually encourage students to stay ahead of the curve and become future global leaders.

I would also like to warmly welcome our international experts from the United States and Singapore. Above all, I express my deepest gratitude to all the experts for their dedication to this significant event, despite their busy schedules. I wish this conference tremendous success and am confident that next year will see an even greater impact with the participation of even more experts.

Thank you for your participation and support.

Sincerely,
Chang-Hai Tsai, MD, PhD
