Abul Arif is a Scientific Editor of Cell Reports Medicine, Cell Press. He is based in Atlanta, USA. Abul completed his PhD in Animal Sciences from the University of Hyderabad, India, studying steroid hormone signaling. He received postdoctoral training and research experience at Cleveland Clinic and Emory University School of Medicine. Abul extensively studied cell signaling pathways in inflammation, metabolism, aging, and cancer. His research contribution resulted in publications in multiple top-tier journals. Before joining Cell Reports Medicine, Abul served as the scientific editor of iScience for three years. With a background and interests intersecting different areas of life and health sciences, Abul is motivated to bring forward high-quality, clinically relevant content and facilitate their publication in Cell Reports Medicine and other Cell Press Journals.
