ICABS Chairman

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of Organizing Committee, I am pleased to welcome you to attend the inaugural International Conference on Advanced Biomedical Sciences (ICABS) to be held in Taichung on November 19- 21, 2021.

This inaugural conference is a culmination of one and a half year of teamwork aiming to serve as a bridge between international experts and domestic talents to promote biomedical sciences in Taiwan. We plan to make this conference an  nnual event and attract participants from worldwide. In fact, the ICABS 2022 is under preparation.

We have invited myriad international renowned speakers from US, Japan, China and Taiwan to inaugurate the 2021 ICABS conference. These speakers include Nobel Laureates, Members of US National Academy of Science, Academicians of Academia Sinica, and several prominent speakers in their respective field. Besides keynote speeches, the conference encompasses 6 sessions focusing on current trends in biomedical sciences such as Signal Transduction and Cancer, ancer Metabolism, Stem Cell, Cancer
Immunology, Novel Technology and Translational Innovation, and Innovative Cancer Therapy. It is noteworthy that each session will be moderated by esteemed scientists from Taiwan. Furthermore, there will be concurrent Meet-the-Expert luncheons with all invited speakers. The luncheons will provide an excellent opportunity for domestic researchers and post-doc/graduate students to have a face-to-face engagement with international experts. As in many other scientific conferences, ICABS will have poster sessions to encourage abstract submission from trainees and graduated students.

Lastly, I would like take this opportunity to thank for the generous support from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Chairman Tsai and the entire Board of Trustee of China Asia Associated University, colleagues from China Medical University and Health Care System. The China Medical University new campus in Shuinan, a 16 acres’ area with state-of-art facilities, will be used as conference venue. We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting scientific event.
