About
Oxygen is fundamental to most forms of life, and hypoxia has been recognized as an underlying condition of many human diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorder, and cognitive dysfunction, while many organ functions such as kidney affect oxygen homeostasis. However, cross-talk among these different fields of research has been lacking. This conference aims to bring together different perspectives of the pathophysiology of oxygen consumption and distribution, and hopes to advance collaboration among various expertise.
