Extracellular vesicles (EVs), encompassing exosomes and microvesicles, have emerged as critical mediators of intercellular signaling and represent a transformative platform for diagnostics and therapeutics. Increasing evidence underscores their involvement in cancer progression, regenerative medicine, immune modulation, aging, and neurological disorders—positioning EVs at the forefront of next-generation biomedical innovation.
To advance translational research and global collaboration in this rapidly evolving field, China Medical University (CMU) will host the NextGen EV Therapeutics Forum on June 24, 2025, at its Shuinan Campus in Taichung, Taiwan. This high-level, full-day event will convene internationally renowned experts, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Randy W. Schekman and Prof. Kenneth W. Witwer, President of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV), alongside leading voices from Taiwan’s academic, clinical, and biotech sectors.
The forum will spotlight the latest breakthroughs in EV engineering, scalable manufacturing, and clinical translation, while fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and strategic alliances. Through knowledge exchange and collaborative engagement, the event aims to accelerate the integration of EV-based technologies into precision medicine and global health solutions.
