RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The program of Prof Möller provides understanding of cancer biology, and clinical and commercial translation across three kea areas: 1) the first demonstration that cancer hypoxia is a key driver of metastasis-permissive changes in distant organs (termed pre-metastatic niche), 2) defining small extracellular vesicles (sEVs, also called exosomes) as main mediators of these pro-metastatic processes, and 3) developing blood-based, sEVcontained biomarker to diagnose cancer, suggest therapeutic interventions and prognosticate therapeutic responses in patients.
