Extracellular vesicles (EVs), including exosomes and microvesicles, have emerged as pivotal mediators of intercellular communication and represent a transformative platform for novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. With increasing evidence of their roles in regenerative medicine, immune modulation, aging, cancer progression, and neurological disorders, the field of EV-based research and applications is rapidly advancing.
To further catalyze the development of next-generation medicines and foster international collaboration, China Medical University Hospital will host the seminar “Next-Generation Medicines: Advances in Cells and Extracellular Vesicles” during the 2025 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo on December 6, 2025, at Conference Room 401, Hall 1, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Taiwan.
This seminar will feature Prof. Kenneth W. Witwer, President of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV), together with leading experts and key opinion leaders from Taiwan’s biomedical, academic, clinical, and industry communities.
The program will highlight the latest advances in EV engineering, scalable manufacturing, and clinical applications, while also providing a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and strategic partnerships. By bridging research and application, this event seeks to accelerate innovation and drive the integration of EV and cell-based technologies into precision medicine and future healthcare solutions.
